Composer, pianist, orchestrator and producer, Roger Cabré, has always had a strong
passion for the music and developed a deep relationship with it. At the young age of 3,
he told his mother that he wanted to play the piano, and since then, he started taking piano
and music lessons. Roger has attended masterclasses from Ramon Coll, Alexander
Kandelaki, Nino Kereselidze and Graham Jackson, among others. As he was getting into
music, Roger started feeling increasingly attracted to music composition.
In 2018, he completed his Professional Certificate of Music in Piano at Miguel Fleta
Conservatory (Monzón), with Juan Fernando Moreno Gistaín.
Then, determined to pursue his childhood dream and make music his way of living, he
decided to study the Bachelor of Music in Composition at Escola Superior de Música de
Catalunya (ESMUC), studying film scoring with Arnau Bataller, and also composition
and orchestration with Albert Guinovart, Bernat Vivancos and José Río-Pareja. He was
graduated from ESMUC in 2023 with his piece for ensemble Momentum premièred
the 6th of June 2023 in L'Auditori, Sala 2, Barcelona.
At the same time he was studying, Roger started getting into projects such as short films,
in which he composed and produced the original music, and music for theatre. Also, in
2022 he released his first single, and since then he has been producing records for his
personal project as a composer and pianist.
Right now Roger is launching his career as a composer for film, TV & videogames, as
well as his personal project as a composer and pianist, in which he is currently working
on his debut album.
